Chepelare is small and cozy ski resort situated in the heart of Rhodope mountains, 230 km away from the capital of Sofia and 80 km from Plovdiv. It is a beautiful mountain town and the nature that surrounds it – venerable fir trees, mountain springs and deep snow slopes in the winter makes it a wonderful place for relaxation. Here is located the longest ski run in Bulgaria. The skiing facilities are basic but very well maintained.
